About

Hello, I’m a documentary photographer based in Gravesend, working across London and the south-east of the UK.

I'm interested in collaborating with journalists or other photographers on documentary stories.

Get in touch to talk to me about how we can work together.

I have a list of documentary photography resources, including articles, courses, documents, mentoring, books, talks, and interviews. If you have a recommendation, please get in touch.

My ongoing project, The Gravesend Journal, features a series of stories from in and around Gravesham. If you have a story that needs documenting, please get in touch. Maybe we can work together.

What Am I doing now

What I’m doing, or at least supposed to be doing about now.

(updated 1 September 2024)

Working on ideas for issue four of The Gravesend Journal

I’m much happier with the printing and the layout of Issues Two and Three; they’re a great improvement from Issue One. This will be the format for the foreseeable. I’ve got a couple of ideas I’m working on for issue four, but I’m always open to suggestions.

Thinking about, as much as working on, Home: a long-term project

Home focuses on people living in non-conventional homes. So, caravans, tents etc. If that includes you or someone you know, I’d love you to contact me.

Getting psyched up for the Mountain Workshop

You’re never too old to learn. There are seven weeks to go, and I’m feeling like a twelve-year-old in the days before Christmas!

Nigel was able to capture the beauty of bespoke shoemaking and the product of its craft through his incredible digital photography. Watching him curate such a creative way of illuminating our product was incredibly fascinating. Our team and I are very happy with the final product of Nigel’s great work.
